FAN EXPO Hybrid Event Experiences

Overview

FAN EXPO HQ, as its name suggests, is the largest pop culture producer in the world, with fan experiences held across North America that draw in millions of fans and counting.

During a 2019 partnership, Eventology’s Fan Guru product powered nearly every FAN EXPO event, including their world-famous Masters Of Cosplay contest. Attendees were able to vote, comment, share, build their schedules, buy tickets, compete in challenges, chat with others—all without ever leaving the app.

In addition to the technology we provided, this massive endeavor saw our involvement in social media campaigns, marketing materials, branding assistance, photography, videography, and behind-the-scenes organization.

Challenge

Bring all of FAN EXPO’s fan events to one centralized platform, while also making the event curation experience streamlined for organizers and exhibitors.

Approach

Combine out-of-the-box features with new creative solutions that encourage users to engage before, during, and after the event. Incentivize attendees with easy-to-explore activities from at home or in person.
